Enhancing patient experience with new televisions

Thanks to a generous charitable grant, the Trust Charity has provided 16 large televisions to enhance patient experience across the Trust. These TVs, have been strategically placed in patient areas, offering both entertainment and a welcome distraction from the clinical setting.

The addition has been warmly received by patients and staff alike. Jean-Marie Pegg, manager of the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Unit, emphasised the difference it makes: “We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful donation to provide a vital source of entertainment and comfort to patients during their time with us. The TV is already proving to be beneficial for our patients and we’re really pleased we’re able to switch it on every morning.”

Rebecca Davies, manager on Ward C1, added: “We are really appreciative of the TVs being donated to our ward. They bring joy to our patients, and we love seeing them engrossed in their favourite programmes.”

This initiative is part of the charity’s ongoing project to fund high-quality televisions throughout the Trust. Beyond providing entertainment, the TVs help alleviate stress and create a more positive environment for patients during their stay.
